Research interests
- Ecology of seabirds as indicators of the state of the marine ecosystem including research topics such as foraging and diet, behavior, population dynamics, distribution, and adaptations in response to variable environmental conditions. Study of the effects of environmental conditions and climate changes on population dynamics.
- Study of the behavioral response and physiology to stress applied to the conservation of seabirds.
- Behavioral ecology of birds, as well as an ecological approach to resolve conflicts between wildlife and humans. I specialized in risk analysis and conflict management between humans and wildlife and in the delineation of important areas for bird conservation.
